Fantastic4 Easy Wheels Extender Bar for Brompton Bicycle G Line

This is a specially designed extension rod made specifically for the G Line.
It bolts directly onto the rear triangle—no need for extra support brackets or makeshift stacking solutions. There's also no need to keep using the older, thinner C Line extension rods. When forced onto the G Line, C Line extension rods not only lack the length needed, but also can’t handle the weight and off-road impact of the G Line!

Installation is simple—just fasten the stainless steel screws on both sides and it's ready to use. It doesn’t interfere with the suspension and won’t get in the way of your foot while riding.

Since the release of the G Line, which is built for off-road use and heavier loads, lifting the bike easily is no longer practical. That's why installing a rack and extension rod has become a functional upgrade.

Due to the G Line's large wheel diameter and wider rear triangle, it requires an extra-long extension rod to reach past the front wheel when folded—only then can the extension rod serve its purpose.

I’ve continued using the internal dual-rail design, which allows for significantly extended reach. It features a reinforced 4mm steel rod rail, making it fully capable of handling the G Line’s high load and impact demands without compromising support even when fully extended.

The sliding inner rod has a diameter of 12mm, and the outer tube reaches 15mm in diameter. Both are made of high-strength aluminum alloy, far exceeding the specs of traditional C Line rods. This makes it longer, stronger, and fully resistant to the weight and shocks of the G Line.

The inner rod is secured with a strong rare-earth magnet, allowing smooth extension and retraction without loosening—unlike typical mechanical locking systems which wear out over time.
